Easter Holiday Activity 2022 Review

Norfolk Youth Projects have now completed their Easter Holiday programme working with over 300 young people mainly from the Mile Cross/ Catton Grove area in both High school and Primary school.

The young people have had 9 very exciting days of activities, games and trips. The activities and games took place in Horsford in partnership with Xadventure activities. The activities included CLIMBING/ABSEILING, ZIPWIRE,RAFT BUILDING, ARCHERY, AXE THROWING,BUSHCRAFT PLUS many more. Each day the young people would be at Xadventure for 6 hours with a lunch in the middle.

Norfolk Youth Projects would very much  like to thank Xadventure and their staff for their work and understanding with the young people.

The young people also went 10 pin bowling plus a treasure hunt along the river Wensum and cathedral, through the lanes to Castle Quarter. The last 2 days saw different groups each day leaving at 9.00am going to Wroxham then a 2 hour cruise on the Broads with everybody having a chance to drive the boat. We then went onto Sea Palling where after lunch we went on the beach. We arrived back in Norwich at 5.00pm.

During these 9 days we have had young people saying these have been the best days of their life. Norfolk Youth Project and the staff/volunteers have enjoyed working with the young people.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO CONTINUE DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS SO PLEASE KEEP LOOKING AT OUR WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS IN THE FUTURE.
