2015 saw the beginning of our venture into international exchanges with South America.

Our first project has been in facilitating a wonderful international exchange programme between New Eccles Hall School (Norfolk) and Colegio Honofre Benavides (Peru) along with our partner Volunteers Peru, a peruvian NGO.

The project sees the development of a working relationship between the two schools in which students from both institutions will fundraise in order to spend time in each other’s country. The project has mutual learning at it’s heart with curriculum’s being developed for the exchanges by both institutions which enhance learning opportunities for both sets of students.

As well as fabulous fundraising and learning opportunities being carried out by students from both countries, 2015 saw recce exchange visits for teachers from both countries which enabled them to visit each other, discuss development of the project, carry out risk assessments, explore curriculum ideas and develop health and safety plans.
